वीर लक्ष्मीचन्द गुप्त - Vir Laxmichand Gupt
Laxmi Chand gupt was born in the year 1916 and was a freedom fighter and an educationist. He wrote many books and pamphlets between 1936- 1946 at a young age. His books was banned by British Government and three times warrants for his arrest were issued and subsequently banned him to enter 5 adjoining states of Delhi. As his literature by them were found to be against British Government and leading masses to fight against them . He told me that he would in disguise sell his books for 2Rs on railway platforms so that people could read during their travels
He was a graduate ofShree Ram College of Commerce .
He opened first few private schools of Delhi in Independent India . He joined politics and was then president of Delhi pradesh Congress Committee and thereafter joined Jan Sangh along with Shyama prasad mukherjee .
He passed away in Delhi in 1999 and left behind three sons and two daughters
